Off on vacation.

My takes on Cat Stevens

Well bro your blog inspired me to do one on Cat Stevens too. So thanks. The first song by Cat Stevens that I putting on here is called "Moon Shadow". I like this song because to me this guy more or less loses everything from his hands and his power, or if his eyes run dry. Does he fall into depths of sorrow no. He trys to make the best of what he's got because he's being fallowed by a moon shadow.


This second song is called "Wild World". This song to me talks about a guy losing his women and he's trying to warn her about the world. I think we can all relate to this song if you really experienced the wild world. So be careful out their remember the wild world will chew you up and spit you out if you let it like it has to so many others before us. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.

The workers

This is a song I dedicate to all the workers of every craft and trade. I feel that it's the American people that always suffer for the government and corporate America's screw ups. We are the one's losing jobs by the millions, we are the ones who are fighting to find work when everyone is closing their doors or down sizing, and we are the ones that are going to have to pay it back with the lost of your pension, and with us having to pay it back in one way are another if it be us are the next generation. Nobody feels the impact like the American people. Enjoy the song.

Best Heavy Weight Champ in the World

Fedor Emelianenko is the greatest heavy weight MMA fighter of all time in my book. This 32 year old man is thee smartest fighter I have ever seen. He watches his opponent and learns his style then he destroys them. His style is Sambo and Judo but he will stand and throw with anyone, make them tap, or knock them out. In his career he has one loss on his record that should have been a no contest because it was stopped by the ref. for a cut above is eye from a illegal elbow. But he came back and TKO ed the same guy 4 years later and got his revenge. I feel sorry for anyone that has to do battle with Fedor. Fedor likes to get hit it makes him feel alive I've never seen a fight where he doesn't have blood or bumps on his face. Hats off to Fedor Emelianenko 31 wins, 8 by knock out, 16 by submission, 7 by decision, and 1 loss by no contest. What a fighter.

I hope this is a change for the better.

I really hope that this is a change for the better. I hope are new president Obama can fix are broken system. I hope the House and Senate will do their parts and work with him to make are country the best it can be. I hope Congress and the House and the American people can put their differences aside and reach down deep and find that American Spirit. It was the people and founders of this country that never lost hope when they were being oppressed by a king. It was the people that left their families and farms and formed militias that held off the red coats. It was the one in every four men that fought in the World Wars to defend her. It is the regular person that gets his or her butt out of bed every day to go to work and provide for their family. It's the Mom that takes care of the home front and children while her husband works day in and day out. It is the fight that lives in every true AMERICAN that still believes in this great country. Most of my friends when they where drunk would do some wild things. Most of them crack up funny but alot of them stupid that they regretted the next day. So I hope you get a laugh out of this. My love hate relationship with computers.

Well here is my story. I installed my wireless router and didn't install the security on it for about an hour and damn. My computer started freezing and giving you all these pop ups. So I called Dell and after about 4 and a half hours on the phone with the technician and a couple hundred dollars later my computer was working again. So now I know how people feel when they take their car to a mechanic when they don't know whats the matter with their car. I feel like I was butt rapped and not in a good way. I guess I'm going to have to take some computer classes so this never happens again. I hate not knowing whats going on or at least some idea on how to fix something. Are maybe I will pick my brothers brain. Good luck to all and have a great New Year.

I hate yes I said hate people that go through life like everyone owes them something. I mean if all you can do is complain then do us all a favor and put a bullet in your head if life is to hard or go out like a B with some pills, pink socks, and a tutu. Take things in life and learn from them and better yourself and help those around you. Don't play the guilt trip games or the pitty party because me myself I really can care less most of the times if you don't have the nuts to pick yourself up and help yourself. I have a guy at work and damn what a lazy piece of crap, But the thing is that everyone is always covering up for him and are to afraid to fire his ass. What has happen these days, people can't take responsibility for their actions or stand up, nobody wants to stir the pot. I say F that I will dump that pot on the ground to get somebody's attention. I'm sick of it. DO YOUR DAMN JOB. "Be a Man".

Well all I can say is just be yourself. If tattoos, long hair, and a goatee is what you are feeling then be you. Don't be someone your not because alot of people can see right threw you and your fakeness. I work around alot of nonmembers and nonbelievers and they know I'm Mormon but they don't care because I have always treated them the same since the day I first met them. Let people know where you stand and they will respect you more then if they saw you being wishy washy. If you are true you will build some everlasting friendships and trust with alot of people (family,friends,kids,wifes,etc.). So thats my thoughts for now. Like my brother would say " Be a Man". Just be yourself. If you are a yeser on 8 then stay Yes don't pull a John Kerry and cheer for gays in frisco then down them in the bible belt south. And if your a No person on 8 then stay no and respect people for their stance. If they have the balls to take one. That goes for everything you do in life stay true to you because if you like it or not people are watching and judging you all the time. So heres to you all stay true to you.

A Little Old school with a Little New School.

I love both of these bands. I was introduced to the Dubliners by my Grandpa Maloy. They are great irish folk singers. I was introduced to the second band by my brother Chris. The Pouges are more punk but it was good to see the to groups get together and lay it down with an old Dubliner hit The Irish Rover. Enjoy.

Marine Corps Birthday & Veterans Day.

Well I thought I would make this a double whammy since they are only a day apart. So HAPPY 233rd BIRTHDAY MARINE CORPS. The Marine Corps was established on November 10,1775 . They first started recruiting in a bar called Tuns Tavern. So to all the Marines past, & present Happy Birthday. I want to thank you personally for your service. No one will ever know what it takes and what kind of pride we really have because they have not lived it. To all the good Marines I've served with I love you guys. You guys where and always will be family to me. I want to thank Victor Mancha and his wife Liz for giving so much to this country. Vic & Liz Mancha will be retiring soon they have sacrificed so much. Vic you are one of the greatest Marines I have ever met in my life they should write a book on you, your wife, and kids on what it's like to live a Marines life. From being in every conflict from Desert Storm until present. Vic you have seen the sands of Iraq more than anybody and your family had to endure that with you every time. For that I want to say thank you and I love you brother. You are a hero in my book. To Matt Shelby who is in Iraq for the second time I thank you and love you brother. I have known Matt for hell most of my life and we share alot of memories together. From brothers on the football field to brothers in the Marine Corps I will always have your back bro. You are one I'm proud to stand next to and walk into battle with. Come home safe to your family and remember we all support you. To my dad thank you for your service and starting me on the right path you are a great Marine and should be very proud of what you have done and the sacrifices you have made. You will always be a great example to me and a hero in my book you have face alot in life when most couldn't I love you Pop. To Jacob Phillips, and David Pulido thank you for all that you do in your service for the Corps. So everyone should raise their glasses and give thanks to the worlds best fighting force. Yes I said world we have shown them what we are made of and no one can defeat us we have the American Spirit and USMC Pride.
To the American Veterans I want to thank you for all you have done to make this country as great as it is. With out all of you and the sacrifices you have all made we as Americans would never be able to enjoy the freedoms that we have today. Young and old I thank you for your service to this great country. So raise your glasses once more for all of the United States of America Veterans and all they have gave to make this a great place. Thank You Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, and Merchant Marines for all you have done for us and generations to come.

Its VOTE Day.

Well I hope everyone did their own research and doesn't vote off of what other people are telling you. People seem to be one sided alot when it comes to politics and religion. So to McCain I thank you for your service to this great country and for enduring POW camp and your pains you endured for this country and your service to the government. To Obama thank you for service in the government. I thank both of you for what you put on the table as far as your plans if you are elected it made my choice easier. I hope you guys really try to get the country out of the hole and build the economy. Who ever wins has a big mess on their hands but both of you know that because you where both there when it all happened. So good luck. Keep people working and build more jobs and the economy will pay it self back. Drive us down even more then you will have a Great Depression on your hands.
